「kaku kaku sikaku」

枠の内寸法は７５ｍｍ×７５ｍｍの小さな四角い作品です。

四角は物事を安定させる構造と全てを包み込むパワーを持っているそうです。

このことから四角は心を落ち着かせる形と言われています。

安定を表す四角を少し不安定に置くことで、奇妙なバランスの楽しさを表現しています。

裏面と裏板に使用している紙は、この作品用にデザインし版を彫って1枚づつ版刷りした香白圭オリジナルです。

図柄には鹿を描いています。

日本では鹿は神の使いとされており、鹿の角には魔除けの力があると言われている縁起物です。

色は４色　「とのしろ」白系　「はいそら」灰系　「はるさんご」赤系　「びゃくろく」緑系

「kaku kaku sikaku」

 It is a small square picture frame with the inner dimensions of the frame being 75mm x 75mm.

Squares are said to have a structure that stabilizes things and the power to envelop everything.

For this reason, the square is said to be a shape that calms the mind.

The squares representing stability are placed slightly unsteadily to express the fun of strange balance.

The paper used for the back side and backboard is kahakukei original, designed and carved for this work and printed one by one.

The pattern depicts a deer. 

In Japan, the deer is considered to be a messenger of the gods, and the antlers themselves are a lucky charm that is believed to have the power to ward off evil.
