イタリアの古典的な金箔技法による仕上げを施しています。こちらは銀箔を使います。

石膏を塗り重ね、水により箔を施してゆきます。それゆえ日本では水箔置きなどと言われています。

仕上げは瑪瑙で銀箔を丁寧に磨いてゆきます。

銀箔の持つやさしさを帯びた風合いと、白銀の澄んだ輝きを持つ作品となっております。

この作品もkoganeと同じ３つのこだわりがあります。

ぎりぎりの細さ・・・細く美しいラインをを追求しました。

箔の厚みの質感・・・銀箔を２回置いて倍の厚みを持たせて独特な質感に仕上げています。

裏側まで箔仕上げ・・・裏側まで銀箔で仕上げる事で、側面から途切れることのない仕上げを大切にしました。

これらの小さなこだわりが、この作品の雰囲気を作っているのだと思います。

Finished using the classic Italian gold leaf technique.  This uses silver leaf.

Apply a layer of bologna gesso and apply gold leaf using water. Therefore, in Japan it is called mizuhaku.

The finishing touch is to carefully polish the silver leaf with agate.

This piece has the gentle texture of silver leaf and the clear shine of white silver.

This work has three particular points.

Barely thin ...We pursued thin and beautiful lines.

Thickness of silver leaf. …Silver leaf is applied twice to give it thickness and create a unique texture.

Finished with silver leaf on the back ...By finishing the back side with silver leaf, we made sure to create a seamless finish from the sides.

I believe that these small details create the atmosphere of this work.
