油絵用の枠縁です。

制作で心掛けたことは、和の色彩で描いた油絵に合う仕上げを探すことでした。

きっかけは床の間に飾って似合う枠を作りたいとの想いからです。

この枠縁はシンプルな彫刻と、テンペラには顔料を調合した色彩を用いて、作品の雰囲気も落ち着いたデザインとなっています。 

This is a frame for oil paintings.

What I kept in mind during production was finding a finish that would match the oil painting, which was painted in Japanese colors.

It all started when I wanted to make a picture frame that would look good displayed in an alcove.

This frame is a simple carving, and the tempera color is a mixture of pigments, and the atmosphere of the work is a calm design.
