susunokiと同様に木材にホワイトアッシュを使用し、枠組みは釘を使わず木片を使って組む古くから伝わるチギリ加工。

１枚づつ手削りしますので、見た目はシンプルな木製枠ですが機械生産とは異なる雰囲気があります。

こだわりの仕上げは、塗料を塗るのではなく、酢と鉄を使ってタンニンを抜き灰色に染めること。

その後、柿渋を塗って茶色に染めます。

The wood is white ash, and it is assembled using the old-fashioned process of using wood chips instead of nails.

Each piece is hand-carved, so although it looks like a simple wooden frame, it has a different feel from machine-made pieces.

The careful finishing touch is not to paint the wood, but to use vinegar and iron to remove the tannins and dye it gray.

It is then dyed brown by applying persimmon tannin.
