This is a frame for oil paintings.

My goal was to create a frame with a color tone that would match a Japanese-style room or tokonoma alcove.

The strong incline of the gold leaf liner gives the viewer a greater focus on the work.

The special attention has been paid to creating an antique gold leaf finish that gives off a soft shine when displayed in a dark Japanese-style room or tokonoma alcove.
