大切にしていることは、時間をかけて手削りすること。一日に数枚しか作れない作業ですが、機械では出せない形です。

こだわりの仕上げは、塗料を塗るのではなく、酢と鉄を使ってタンニンを抜き灰色に染める工程。

自然の色とホワイトアッシュ。この塗装では出来ない質感が自然に近い印象を作品に与えます。

The white ash wood is sourced from Canada and northern America. It has beautiful wood grain.

It takes time to carve the shape. Only a few pieces can be made per day, and the shape cannot be produced by machine.

The careful finishing touch is not to paint the wood, but to use vinegar and iron to remove the tannins and dye it gray.

The natural colors and white ash give the piece a gentle impression that cannot be achieved with paint.
