フレームの四隅には、桔梗をモチーフにした彫刻を彫りあげています。

上段は金箔を瑪瑙で磨いて仕上げる水箔仕上げ。

下段は柿渋で木地を染めて黒地仕上げ。

The four corners of the frame are carefully carved with bellflower motifs.

The upper tier is finished with gilding gold leaf polished with agate.

The bottom tier is finished by painting the wood with persimmon tannin.
