こだわりはイタリアの古典的な金箔技法による仕上げです。

石膏を塗り重ね、水により箔を施してゆきます。それゆえ日本では水箔置きなどと言われています。

仕上げは瑪瑙（めのう）で金箔を丁寧に磨いて、特別な深い光沢を生み出します。

この技法は、一般の箔技法よりも多くの工程数を必要とし、日本国内でも少数の額縁工房で製作されています。

koganeは工程を２回行い。金箔の厚みを２倍に重ねてより深い光沢を生み出します。

シンプルな形は手削りすることで、機械加工とはちがう柔らかい曲線を生み出しています。

Finished using the classic Italian gold leaf technique.

Apply a layer of bologna gesso and apply gold leaf using water. Therefore, in Japan it is called mizuhaku.

The finish is by carefully polishing the gold leaf with agate to create a finish that gives you the deep luster of gold leaf.

This foil technique requires several times more steps than regular foil techniques, and is only produced in a small number of picture frame workshops in Japan.

`kogane` is applied with gold leaf twice, doubling the thickness of the gold leaf to create a more profound finish.

Unlike machine-processed shapes, the pieces are painstakingly hand-carved to create soft curves.
